2024 Nissan Sentra S vs 2024 Nissan Sentra SV Serving Homestead, FL

The compact Nissan Sentra sedan has progressively improved over the last few decades, and the 2024 model year brings updates to its features, engineering, and style for you to enjoy. Sentra is available in the S, SV, and SR trim levels this year. As you begin researching the Sentra, a deeper look at the entry-level S and mid-level SV is a great place to start.

Performance

A minor update to the 2024 Sentra's engineering yields a modest boost to fuel efficiency for all trims. The Sentra continues to be available with a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder powertrain that pairs with a continuously variable auto transmission system. This 149-horsepower system features front-wheel drive for all trim levels. The SV is differentiated from the Sentra S with rear disc brakes.

Appearance

There are a few small differences in exterior features, but the overall style of the 2024 Sentra is contemporary and athletic across the three trim levels. The Sentra has a forward-facing stance as well as a tapered roofline. Its athletic look continues with angled definition over the rear haunches and lower door panels. The 2024 Sentra's front end shows off a wide V-motion grille that drops to the bottom of the nose. The air inlets and slanted, slender LED headlights enhance the grille's inverted shape. If you choose the S, your Sentra will come with 16-inch steel wheels with covers. The SV adds hands-free keyless entry, and it is available with remote engine start, 17-inch wheels, and heated side mirrors as upgrades.

Features

The Sentra is well-equipped at its base trim level. Its entry-level features include forward collision sensing with automatic braking, a blind-spot warning, a lane departure warning, rear automatic braking, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a 7-inch touch display screen, push-button ignition, and a four-speaker audio system. The Sentra SV adds standard or available features like heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, a two-zone automatic climate control system, an 8-inch infotainment system screen, adaptive cruise control, an upgraded digital display cluster, leather upholstery, a Bose sound system with eight speakers and a surround-view camera.
